When does Children's Sunday School meet?
Children's Sunday School begins at 9:00am and generally lasts until about 9:45am.
Children's Sunday School operates during the normal school year; it does not meet over the summer.
What classes/age groups are avialable?
LCC currently has two Sunday School classes.
Preschool/Pre-K/Kindergarden - this class is for younger children. During Sunday School time this class meets for Bible Stories (using the Spark Story Bible), play time, crafts, and songs.
1st grade - 4thgrade - this class is for elementary school age children. During Sunday School time this class reads and discusses Bible Stories - often acting them out. The class also talks about the importance of faith in our everyday lives and ends with a group prayer. The older students often read from the CEV version of the Bible, but sometimes refer to other translations - and sometimes even wanders back to the Spark Story Bible.
Older children are more than welcome in the elmentary age class. And, we are open to adding more classes as the need for them grows.
