Art Show

I want to let you know of an upcoming opportunity to show our congregation’s talent with an LCC Art and Craft Show and Silent Auction! The Social Committee is setting this event in motion and the Stewardship Committee is going to help us with the silent auction.

The Art and Craft Show is open to both 2D and 3D pieces, and to all adults and children. So, each person can bring at least one or two paintings, drawings, sculptures, etc. We only have tables, so we ask if you have table easels or an easel to use to display your work, please bring it.

The Art and Crafts Silent Auction will be a table of pieces or things that you are willing to put up for auction. Items can be actual paintings or crafts, art lessons, music lessons or performances, even culinary items - if that’s your talent that you’re willing to donate. The money made from the auction will go to purchasing new children’s bibles and, if we make enough, some other items the church needs. Both the art show and art silent auction will happen concurrently.

Bring all items to be exhibited and auctioned to church on Saturday, October 14th - noon - 4:00pm. The exhibit and silent auction will begin on Sunday, October 15th before and after church, and will be up all week and then the show and auction bidding will close on Sunday, October 22nd by 1 pm. Art and crafts not sold or auctioned off may be taken home then.
